UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet is composed of high grade unsaturated polyester resin (UP) in connection with a reinforcement of glass mats,is then pressed under high temperature to obtain a polyvalent electrically insulating rigid laminate.These polyester laminate sheet are equipped with outstanding electrical property under high humidity and high mechanical property under medium temperature, fire retardant property, good arc resistance and tracking resistance.
UPGM203 (GPO-3) offers lower cost alternatives to other thermoset composites,such as FR4,G10,G11 epoxy insulation sheet.Among these materials, UPGM203 (GPO-3) is the most economical one in same electrical insulation application.For example,the insulating structural parts in motors and electrical equipment, such as circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, DC motors, AC contactors, explosion-proof appliances and other electrical appliances.
FR4 is the general name of this kind of epoxy insulation sheet including G10 and G11.G10 and G11, and the addressing methods are different in different places. They are laminated by alkali free glass fiber cloth soaked with epoxy resin and added with corresponding flame retardant, adhesive and other additives.
FR4 have the advantages of better tensile strength,wear resistance,high temperature resistance than UPGM203 (GPO-3),so pure FR4 price is much higher than UPGM203 (GPO-3).

4. Application
UPGM 203 (GP03) have outstanding mechanical strength,it can be machined, punched, drilled, milled, sawn, sanded, sheared or routed. Assembly by bonding, metal screws or rivets are also possible. It also performs well in electrical applications that require high arc and carbon track resistance as well as flame resistance, our sheet complies with UL94 flame resistance test to V0.Due to its excellent mechanical and thermal properties it is ideal for use as bar holders, spacers, control panels and many more, where a Class F material is required, as well as having an outstanding tracking resistance.

A:UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet has the characteristics of high density, uniform thickness, small shrinkage, smooth surface, toughness, mechanical strength, aging resistance and high electrical insulation performance.
4.What is the difference between Epoxy sheet and UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet?
A:Composite sheet in which synthetic resin is used as matrix material. According to the different matrix resin used, it can be divided into epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin, phenolic resin FRP and so on.Epoxy resin is characterized by high compression and tensile strength. It can still maintain good mechanical properties under high temperature for a long time. It has good arc resistance, UV aging resistance and climate resistance. Unsaturated resin is characterized by light weight, high strength, good corrosion resistance, excellent electrical performance, unique thermal performance, excellent processing performance and good material designability.
The disadvantage of epoxy resin is that the price is high, which is more than twice that of unsaturated polyester resin, and the curing time is long (unsaturated polyester resin can be cured within 1 hour, while epoxy resin needs more than 10 hours). These two disadvantagerods material cost and labor cost of epoxy resin is higher than unsaturated polyester resin.UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet use unsaturated polyester resin.
5.How long is the service life of UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet?
A:UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet is made of glass fiber and resin by pultrusion. First of all, the quality of materials will determine the performance of the sheet. We all use materials from well-known suppliers. Secondly, in order to meet the needs of fire prevention, some modified additives will be added to enhance the corresponding performance. In addition, the proportion of fiber and resin also affects the performance of UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet.The shelf life generally is up to 15 years, if buried underground is up to 50 years.
6.What is the difference between FR4 and UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet?
A: The main difference is price.FR4 price is much higher than UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet.FR4 have the advantages of better tensile strength,wear resistance,high temperature resistance than UPGM203 (GPO-3) and SMC sheet.

A:FR4 and UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet is different production process,almost manfacturer only focus on one kind of production,if the supplier can supply the above all kind of sheet,mostly it is a trading company.We only manufacture UPGM203 (GPO-3) sheet and SMC sheet.

A: Sample is free but need customer to afford the shipping cost,we will deduct this cost if we have order cooperation.
